We received an inquiry about the possibility of painting a mural for the Solina dam located in the heart of the Bieszczady mountains.
The monumental dimensions of the mural have an area of over 4,000 square meters and is a big challenge, and a challenge is something that we like most of all!
After preliminary attempts a decision was made to accomplish something much more innovative - an environmental mural. Reverse graffiti as well as clean graffiti is a technique involving selectively leaching the graphics on a dirty surfaces with a water jet under high pressure. Over the decades, the dam has become considerably dirty. The dam itself is used to generate electricity by using ecological methods, therefore the idea is so perfectly suited to this place.
The work was created over a period of almost two weeks, and the effect turned out to be amazing. It is probably the biggest ecological mural on our continent. Local national and international media gave our work publicity. It not only increased interest in the dam, but the entire region, which resulted in a new tourist attraction.
