These complex wall paintings serve a variety of purposes — from grassroots artistic initiatives and patriotic murals, to hand-painted advertisements, urbanising artwork and graffiti aimed at enhancing the aesthetics of the surrounding environment. Every hand-crafted mural is unique and requires an individual approach during the design process. The goal is most often to create a distinctive atmosphere, tailored to the character of a given location, the function it is meant to serve, and the preferences of its audience. Among the works we have created are those reproduced from supplied designs, as well as those conceived and designed entirely by our creative graphic designers. All works were carefully adapted to the walls on which they were to appear. Once the design process is complete — or upon receipt of a ready-made design — the execution of the mural is carried out by our team of experienced large-format painters. Access to the surface is achieved using ladders, scaffolding, lifts or aerial work platforms.
How does the mural creation process work? How is it made? Is there a standard price list?
Many painters transfer the design directly from a sketchbook by eye. They observe the wall from an appropriate distance, analyse it, and determine what scale and tools to use. This is easier the more small details the design contains. Another option is to transfer the design using a grid. This technique involves dividing the design into smaller sections by marking vertical and horizontal lines, then sketching the same lines in the correct proportions on the wall and transferring the image section by section into the corresponding rectangles. A further method is the use of a projector — though accurately fitting such an image requires knowledge of graphic software and considerable patience, often involving repositioning the equipment and carefully matching the image from several setups. There is also the option of painting from stencils, though preparing a good stencil takes a significant amount of time. Once the sketch is in place, painting can begin. Large areas are filled with base colours, followed by tonal colour transitions, and then the precise painting of details, outlines and typography — working from the general to the specific, or from the top of the wall downwards. Naturally, the better the technique and the greater the skill of the painters, the better the final result on the wall. Pricing can only be determined individually, depending on the project.

The size of the painting or graffiti matters, as does the complexity of the design, as well as the texture and condition of the surface to be painted. It is also relevant whether it will be a decorative or informational mural, painted inside a building or a mural of a different nature on an external facade, or on a non-standard object. The location itself can also affect the price of a mural if it serves as an advertisement. A good location is one that will be seen by the maximum number of people. The most attractive walls are those as close to the city centre as possible and near major thoroughfares. In the case of advertising, good visibility is a key factor that significantly affects the price of a mural. In exceptional situations, where murals are at risk of potential damage or vandalism, we recommend applying a clear varnish — an anti-graffiti coating. Applying such a layer makes it easy to clean the wall using a pressure washer.

The degree of project complexity is simply a measure of how involved, labour-intensive and time-consuming a design is, and how challenging it is to translate the concept into a large-format wall painting. Vector graphics — clean geometric shapes and flat areas of colour — can be painted considerably faster than photorealistic figures. Achieving the right light and shadow, smooth gradients, challenging perspective foreshortening, or working with a greater number of colours and details all have an impact on the price of a mural. This is a factor that affects both the time required for execution and the amount of materials needed, while also demanding a higher level of skill. Non-standard, special projects on unusual objects are the kind of challenges we look forward to — nothing is impossible for us.
The texture and condition of the wall also affect the price of a mural.
When providing an initial mural quote, the technical condition of the surface to be painted cannot be overlooked. It is worth paying attention to the wall's texture — whether it is smooth, rough, rendered, or brick — as well as its technical condition. Is it damaged, greasy, dusty, or in need of repair? Or has it been renovated, freshly painted, primed, and is free from cracks and mould? All of the above factors can significantly affect both the time required and the final cost of the project.
